Turbo Kart Adventure. Last updated September 25, 2026.
The short version
Turbo Kart Adventure does not collect any personal information. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or trackers. The only thing that leaves your device is your best Time Trial lap for the World Leaderboard, sent under a made-up racer name, and you can turn that off.
What stays on your device
Your game progress, settings, lap records and ghost laps are saved on your own phone or computer. They never leave it, and we cannot see them. Deleting the app (or clearing your browser's site data on the web version) erases them.
Motion sensors
If you turn on tilt steering, the game reads your phone's motion sensor to steer the kart. That reading is used in the moment and is never saved or sent anywhere.
World Leaderboard
When you finish a Time Trial, the game sends your best lap to our leaderboard server. It sends only:
- a random player number made on your device, which is not linked to you, your device or any account,
- your racer name, which you pick from two fixed word lists (you cannot type a name),
- the lap time, circuit, engine class, driver and vehicle.
Other players see your racer name, driver color and lap time. To stop sending laps, turn off "Post my Time Trial laps to the World Leaderboard" in Options. To remove laps already posted, email us your racer name and the circuit.
To stop one person from flooding the board, the server briefly counts requests per network. It stores only a scrambled form of the network address that changes every day and is never kept with your laps.
Network use
Apart from the leaderboard, the iPhone app works fully offline and makes no other network requests. The web version downloads the game files from our web host when you open it. The host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and time of request, for security and does not share them with us for any other purpose.
Children
The game is safe for all ages. We collect no personal information from anyone, including children, and there is no way to type text that other players can see.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the date above.
